Your journey, day by day

1. 1

   Day 1 — Rio de Janeiro – Welcome to the “Marvelous City”

   Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival at the international airport, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure. Rio de Janeiro is a spectacular blend of green mountains, golden beaches, blue waters and vibrant urban life. Discover its iconic coastline, from the legendary beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema to the breathtaking landscapes surrounding Guanabara Bay. With its unique combination of natural beauty, culture, music and Brazilian joie de vivre, Rio is the perfect introduction to an unforgettable journey through South America.

   Day 2 — Rio de Janeiro - Corcovado & Christ of Redeemer

   After breakfast you have the chance to go on a half-day excursion to the Corcovado Mountain. Arriving at the station, the environmentally friendly train will take us through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On both sides of the railway you will have spectacular views of Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. On top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, you will stand in front of the symbol of Rio de Janeiro- Statue of Christ the Savior (38m) that was built in 1931. From top of Corcovado, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings like the Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the Maracana stadium and the Sugar Loaf.

   Day 3 — Rio de Janeiro - Sugar Loaf Mountain & City Highlights

   After breakfast you have a half-day excursion to the Sugarloaf. The first stop is the Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area that also offers the possibility to have a snack in the restaurant on top of the mountain. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge Niteroi, and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain. After going down by cable car, the tour continues and we set off on a tour through the city.

   Day 4 — Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguazu

   Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport with your driver for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Located at the meeting point of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, Foz do Iguaçu is home to one of the world’s greatest natural wonders: the spectacular Iguazu Falls. Fed by the Iguazu River, the falls comprise 275 individual cascades surrounded by the lush rainforest of Iguazu National Park. Among them is the impressive Devil’s Throat, plunging 70 metres into the canyon below. A breathtaking destination where extraordinary nature, tropical landscapes and unforgettable experiences come together.

   Day 5 — Foz do Iguazu – Brasilian Side of the Falls

   After breakfast at the hotel, explore the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls with your guide. Follow the scenic walkways along the Iguazu River canyon and admire the spectacular panorama of hundreds of cascades surrounded by lush rainforest. The trail leads to an impressive viewpoint overlooking the iconic Devil’s Throat, where the power of the water and the mist create a breathtaking spectacle of rainbows and natural beauty. At the end of the tour, return to your hotel. Optional excursions in Foz do Iguaçu, available at an additional cost, include the thrilling Macuco Safari, a visit to the colourful Bird Park and a spectacular helicopter flight over the Iguazu Falls.

   Day 6 — Foz do Iguazu - Argentinean Side of the Falls - Buenos Aires

   After breakfast, meet your guide for a full-day excursion to the Argentine side of Iguazu National Park. Explore its network of scenic trails and walkways, offering a remarkably close perspective of the falls. Discover the Lower and Upper Circuits and continue by ecological train to the spectacular Devil’s Throat, where the immense power of the water can be experienced at close range. After the excursion, transfer to the airport for your flight to Buenos Aires. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. Known as the birthplace of tango, Buenos Aires combines European elegance with a distinctly Latin American spirit. Discover a cosmopolitan city of grand boulevards, historic neighbourhoods, colourful streets and iconic landmarks, from the Casa Rosada and Plaza de Mayo to the lively district of La Boca and elegant Puerto Madero.

   Day 7 — Buenos Aires – City Highlights + Tango Show & Dinner

   Today after breakfast you will go on a half day city tour of Buenos Aires. This panoramic tour will take you through the highlights of South America's most European and cosmopolitan city. We'll drive along 9 de Julio Avenue where the renowned Colón Theater and the Obelisk, symbols of our city, are located. We'll visit Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by important historic buildings like the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the City Hall. We'll also visit Plaza San Martin, Alvear and Plaza del Congreso. The tour will drive us along the old fashion Avenida de Mayo and the dynamic Avenida Corrientes. Explore neighborhoods filled with colors and history, like La Boca and San Telmo, and the sumptuous neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta and the modern Puerto Madero, a busy gastronomic and entertainment area. Return to the hotel overnight. IN THE EVENING: TANGO SHOW & DINNER Tango is still very much alive. A good way of feeling its spirit is visiting one of the restaurants that offers tango shows of an excellent level, to enjoy tango´s sensual magnetism taken to the stage by some of the best dancers, singers and musicians in Buenos Aires! After a delicious dinner, you will follow a spectacular presentation of acclaimed popular and sensuous Tango, performed by the world's best. It is the music of Buenos Aires par excellence. Tango is felt in the air of the city, the city breathes Tango!!

8. 8

   Day 8 — Buenos Aires – Lima

   After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the airport for your flight to Lima. Upon arrival, you will be met by your driver and transferred to your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure.

   Day 9 — Lima – Colonial & Modern City Tour

   After breakfast, enjoy a guided city tour exploring Lima’s historic centre and its magnificent colonial heritage. Discover the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Convent of San Francisco, along with elegant historic buildings featuring beautifully restored traditional wooden balconies. Continue to Lima’s modern residential districts, including San Isidro, known for its historic Olive Grove, Country Club and green spaces, and Miraflores, with its lively streets, Central Park and elegant shopping areas along Avenida Larco. Return to the hotel after the tour.

    Day 10 — Lima – Cusco - Visit Sacsayhuaman

    Breakfast. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight to Cusco. Arrival in Cusco, reception and transfer to the Hotel. In the afternoon We will get away from the crowds to visit Sacsayhuaman, an impressive citadel full of colossal constructions surrounded by beautiful landscapes in complete communion with nature. Climb to the Archaeological park of Sacsayhuaman, in the higher part of Cusco. Our first stop will be Tambomachay, a source of spring water that it is believed was once worshipped. Next we will visit the remains of Qenqo, a stone made labyrinth with a sacrificial altar in its center. At the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman we will enjoy a wonderful view of Cusco while admiring the massive stones that make up the fortress. Our last stop will be to see the Tower of Pucca Pucara before transferring back to the city and your hotel.

11. 11

    Day 11 — Machu Picchu - The Lost City of the Incas

    After breakfast, board the train to Aguas Calientes, travelling through the spectacular Sacred Valley alongside the Urubamba River. From Aguas Calientes, continue by bus to the legendary Machu Picchu, the remarkable Inca citadel nestled dramatically between the mountains. Enjoy a guided visit through its ancient temples, terraces and stone structures while discovering the fascinating history of this extraordinary archaeological site, hidden by dense vegetation until its rediscovery in 1911. After lunch, return by train to Cusco and transfer to your hotel.

12. 12

    Day 12 — Cusco – Puno

    Breakfast. You have a transfer to the bus station from where we take a bus from Cusco to Puno. The route is scenically stunning, and there are stops at cultural sites such as Pikillaqta, the baroque church at Andahuaylillas, the Temple to Viracocha at Racqchi. Lunch at Sicuani. The bus climbs to the high pass of La Raya, at 4,200 meters, from here the scenery changes dramatically. Arrival in Puno, reception and transfer to the hotel.

13. 13

    Day 13 — Puno – Lake Titicaca – Lima

    In the morning, we take a short boat ride to visit the Uros Islands, the fames floating reed islands of Lake Titacaca. A unique feature of this part of the lake is the traditional settlement of Uros people on floating islands made entirely of reeds-the same material they use to build their canoes. The islanders also use totora reeds to make boats, and even as food. Although fishing is still an important activity, nowadays the inhabitants earn their living mainly through selling handicrafts to tourists. Our next destination is Taquile Island, knows for their kindness of their residents, their ancestral skill in weaving, their pre-Columbian constructions, and lovely countryside. After the tour transfer to the Juliaca Airport. Flight to Lima. Arrival and transfer to the hotel .

    Day 14 — Lima - Back home

    Transfer to the airport for your international flight back home!
