Your journey, day by day

1. 1

   Day 1 — Buenos Aires

   Arrival in Buenos Aires. Transfer from the airport to the hotel with a Russian-speaking guide. Check-in, free evening.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Buenos Aires

   City sightseeing tour with a Russian-speaking guide (4 hours): historic center, Plaza de Mayo, the presidential palace Casa Rosada, San Telmo district, elegant Recoleta with its famous cemetery, and the colorful La Boca district with Caminito Street. In the evening you will have dinner and get to experience a tango show at Gala Tango, including private transfers to and from the venue. Days 3–4 (Oct 27–28): Iguazu Transfer from Buenos Aires airport to the hotel, flight to Iguazu. Excursion to the Argentine side of the waterfalls with a Russian-speaking guide. The Argentine side differs from the Brazilian side. Here you will be directly above and below the waterfalls. You will feel the power of the falling water very close up and enjoy the natural park surrounding this magnificent beauty! You will see the formation of the “Devil’s Throat.” The numerous paths and walkways created by people are impressive, allowing you to observe this natural phenomenon from a very close distance. The following day: excursion to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls with a Russian-speaking guide: a panoramic view of the entire cascade, impossible to see from the Argentine side.

   Day 5 — Iguazu — Salta — Cafayate

   Transfer to the airport (driver) and flight to Salta. Upon arrival transfer to the town of Cafayate (about 3 hours), a wine-producing town. En route, excursion to Guachipas, a picturesque village in the foothills, near which lies the Cuevas Pintadas de Guachipas archaeological complex, in the Las Juntas area. Here, in the red sandstone cliffs, there are more than 40 shelters and caves with nearly a thousand rock paintings, created between 500 and 1500 AD using natural pigments. The panels depict llama caravans, anthropomorphic “shield people” figures (hombres escudos), ritual and hunting scenes. One of the most significant collections of rock art in northwestern Argentina. The route passes through some of the most impressive landscapes of Salta Province winding mountain roads, cactus forests and panoramic views of the Calchaquí Valley. Overnight at a wine hotel.

4. 6

   Day 6 — Cafayate — Guachipas

   Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to Cachi, a colonial town hidden in a high-altitude valley at more than 2,500 meters, with a whitewashed church and cobblestone streets. Drop-off in Salta at the end.

5. 7

   Day 7 — Humahuaca Gorge

   Today you will enjoy an excursion to the Hill of Seven Colors and Humahuaca Gorge with a Russian-speaking guide, including entrance tickets to the national park, with drop-off in Purmamarca. You will visit the world-famous Quebrada de Humahuaca, recognized as a UNESCO Cultural and Landscape Heritage site for its unique combination of magnificent landscapes and a rich history whose earliest chapters date back more than 10,000 years. Here you will find the seven-colored Sierra de los Siete Colores, as well as the ancient Rosa de Lima church. The route continues to Tilcara, where you will visit an ancient indigenous fortress, as well as the town of Uquía with its church, which houses one of the most important collections of the famous “Angels of the Arquebusiers.” The village of Humahuaca lies on the banks of the Grande River. From here you can stroll along old narrow cobblestone streets among monuments from the colonial era. Excursion to Inca Cueva, which is a remote high-altitude puna village with ancient petroglyphs and the traditional way of life of the local communities.

6. 8

   Day 8 — Salinas Grandes Salt Flats

   Full-day journey to the Salinas Grandes salt flats along Route 9 with a Russian-speaking guide, including national park entrance tickets, with drop-off in Salta. The dazzling white salt plain stretches to the horizon, creating the feeling of walking across an endless mirror. After the excursion you will return to Purmamarca.

7. 9

   Day 9 — Salta — Mendoza

   Transfer to Salta airport (driver) and flight to Mendoza, the capital of Argentine winemaking at the foot of the Andes. Meet and transfer to the hotel with a Russian-speaking guide.

8. 10

   Day 10 — Luján de Cuyo Valley

   Excursion with a Russian-speaking guide to the Luján de Cuyo Valley, the birthplace of Argentine Malbec, the oldest and most prestigious wine-producing area of Mendoza. Visit to one of the iconic wineries with a tasting surrounded by vineyards against the backdrop of the snow-capped Andes.

9. 11

   Day 11 — Uco Valley

   Excursion with a Russian-speaking guide to the Uco Valley. One of Argentina’s most prestigious and rapidly developing wine regions, where vineyards rise to elevations of more than 1,200 meters. Visit to modern boutique wineries, tasting high-altitude wines against the magnificent panorama of the Andes.

10. 12

    Day 12 — Mendoza — El Calafate

    Transfer to the airport (driver) and flight to Patagonia. Meet and transfer to the hotel with a Russian-speaking guide. In the evening “Nativo Experience”: an off-road journey along the shores of Lake Argentino to the Walichu Caves (Cuevas de Walichu) an archaeological site on rocky cliffs overlooking the lake and the Andes. Tehuelche rock paintings have been preserved here, left thousands of years ago on the cave walls. The excursion ends with an authentic Patagonian dinner inside the cave, with a Russian-speaking guide, surrounded by the starry sky and the silence of the steppe.

11. 13

    Day 13 — Perito Moreno Glacier

    Full-day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier with a Russian-speaking guide, including tickets to Los Glaciares National Park and a boat safari (shared group) right at the edge of the ice. Perito Moreno is one of the few glaciers in the world that continues to advance rather than retreat. From the wooden walkways, there is a breathtaking view of its 5-kilometer-wide ice front, rising up to 74 meters above the waters of Lake Argentino.

12. 14

    Day 14 — El Calafate — Buenos Aires

    Transfer to the airport (driver) and flight back to Buenos Aires. Meet and transfer to the hotel (driver).

13. 15

    Day 15 — Buenos Aires — departure

    Transfer to the airport for the international departure (driver). End of service
