Your journey, day by day

1. 1

   Day 1 — Rio de Janeiro

   Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Meeting at the airport. Transfer to the hotel. Free time. Overnight at the hotel.

   Day 2 — Rio de Janeiro - City Tour & Sugarloaf Mountain

   After breakfast, a sightseeing tour of Rio de Janeiro. Excursion to the Sugar Loaf. The first stop is the Urca Mountain, with a wide viewing area that also offers the possibility to have a snack in the restaurant on top of the mountain. On the mountain of Sugar Loaf you will have a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, islands in the ocean, bridge Niteroi, and the statue of Christ on Corcovado Mountain. After going down by cable car, the tour continues by car to the central regions of the old town of Rio where you can admire several old churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city as well as buildings in colonial style.

   Day 3 — Rio de Janeiro - Corcovado & Christ the Redeemer Statue

   After breakfast we set off on a tour through the city. Arriving at the station, the environmentally friendly train will take us through the jungle to the top of Corcovado. On both sides of the railway you will have spectacular views of Tijuca forest, inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. On top of Corcovado, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, you will stand in front of the symbol of Rio de Janeiro- Statue of Christ the Savior (38m) that was built in 1931. From top of Corcovado, you have a breathtaking panoramic view of the city and its surroundings like the Bridge Niteroi, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the Maracana stadium and the Sugar Loaf.

   Day 4 — Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguaçu – Brasilian Side Tour

   After breakfast, transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, discover the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls on a guided tour. Follow the scenic walkways along the canyon and enjoy spectacular views of the countless cascades, surrounded by lush Atlantic rainforest. The trail culminates at the impressive Devil’s Throat, where you can feel the power of the waterfalls and admire the rainbows created by the spray. Recommended optional activities - additional cost: enhance your experience with a thrilling Macuco Safari boat adventure or a visit to the colourful Bird Park.

   Day 5 — Foz de Iguaçu – Argentine Side Tour

   After breakfast in your hotel, our guide will pick you up for a full day adventure to the Argentinian Side of the Iguazu Nationalpark. The Argentinean side is very different from the Brazilian one; there are the three trails leading you through the nature in the parc. The Lower Circuit: At a length of 1,700 meters, runways venture into the lush jungle to take direct contact with the breaking of the Dos Hermanas, Chico and Ramirez. Walking down a runway you can be at the foot of a huge seawall which is the fall of Salto Bosetti and you will enjoy the steep falls in the Saltos Alvar Nuñez, Elenita and Lanusse. The Upper Circuit: a walk of 1,300 meters, elevated runways will take you on the fall line of several major jumps, reaching the edge thereof. It provides an overview of the whole area from a greater height. The Devil's Throat: Accessed through the Rainforest with the Ecological Train arriving at the Devil's Throat Station. From there, after a 1,000 meters walk, you will reach the enormous 'Devil's Throat'. You will walk around next to the falls to have a close look of the falls. You can feel the strength of the water and enjoy the 55.500 hectares of natural beauty!

   Day 6 — Foz de Iguaçu – Pantanal

   After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Campo Grande. Upon arrival, your local driver will take you to Pousada Aguapé, located in the heart of the Pantanal. Surrounded by rivers, lagoons and lush vegetation, this remarkable wetland is one of Brazil’s most important wildlife destinations. Settle into the pousada and prepare for an immersive experience in one of the world’s richest ecosystems.

   Day 7 — Pantanal – One Day in the Wild

   Throughout the day, enjoy a selection of activities at the pousada, carefully planned according to the season and weather conditions and accompanied by experienced local guides. Excursions take place mainly in the early morning and mid-afternoon, when temperatures are cooler and wildlife is more active. Depending on the schedule, activities may include horseback riding, boat trips, trekking, birdwatching, piranha fishing, photographic safaris and nighttime caiman spotting. All excursions and meals are included during your stay. Overnight at Pousada Aguapé.

8. 8

   Day 8 — Pantanal – Bonito (3,5 hrs)

   Early in the morning we will drive to Bonito and on the way, we will visit the Estancia Mimosa Farm. After a warm welcome at the main ranch house, we start an exciting walk through the Mimosa River Forest. During the hiking trail, there are ten beautiful waterfalls to admire or swim in. The visitor will have the opportunity to enjoy the waterfalls and the rock formations through the way around the Rio Mimosa; there is also a natural deep pool to jump from a 5 meters platform and the chance of going through passages and observatories inside the forest near to the river. After the hike, you can order a delicious lunch in the main building (not included-optional), and you can relax in the hammocks.

   Day 9 — Bonito – Gruta do Lago Azul

   After breakfast, visit the Gruta do Lago Azul. The trail will start with a 40 minutes walk to the cave, then, after descending 100 meters, you will see the lake with crystal clear water. The depth is 72 meters and in the morning when the sunbeams hit the lake, the water will have an intense blue color.

    Day 10 — Bonito – Snorkeling Tour

    After breakfast we will start the snorkeling tour in the crystal-clear river. The tour starts with a visit to the river spring, where you can see the water springing out of the ground. We start the snorkeling tour along the crystal-clear river. The 750-meter-long snorkel allows you to observe the rich subaquatic flora and fauna. An unforgettable experience.

11. 11

    Day 11 — Bonito – Buzios

    After breakfast, transfer to Campo Grande airport for your flight to Rio de Janeiro. Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and take you directly to your hotel in Buzios. Once a charming fishing village, Buzios is now one of Brazil’s most enchanting coastal destinations, renowned for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters and picturesque coastline. Surrounded by lush vegetation and dramatic coastal landscapes, the town offers a relaxed atmosphere combined with a lively seaside charm.

    Day 12 — Buzios – Free Day

    Enjoy a full day at leisure in Buzios. Relax on one of its beautiful beaches, explore the coastline, enjoy water activities or simply wander through the charming streets and discover the local restaurants and shops.

    Day 13 — Buzios - Rio de Janeiro

    Last breakfast and then transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport.
