Your journey, day by day

   Day 1 — . Rio de Janeiro

   Take in the breath-taking view as your plane descends upon Rio de Janeiro – the 'Marvelous City' where rolling green hills, turquoise ocean, sandy beaches and high-rise urban development is all packed together in a unique blend of life and humanity. Your driver will take you from the airport to the hotel, during which time you can get a different perspective of the city, passing through the colonial style buildings and along the world-famous beachfront. The natural beauty of Rio is almost transcendental and gives you a taste of the Amazon rainforest while still retaining everything that is so incredible about a Latin American city. A walk along the mosaic tiles of Copacabana reveals much about the life of a 'carioca' (Rio local) – a refreshing caipirinha as the waves lap against the shore, a fiercely competitive game of foot volleyball, and thousands of beachgoers sunning themselves on the white sands. You have truly arrived in paradise.    Day 2 — . Rio de Janeiro – Sugar Loaf Mountain & City Tour

   After breakfast, depart on a half-day excursion (4 hours) to one of Rio de Janeiro's most famous landmarks. The tour begins with a cable car ride to Sugar Loaf Mountain, making a first stop at Urca Hill, before continuing to the summit. From the top, enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Guanabara Bay, Copacabana Beach, the surrounding mountains, the islands scattered along the coast, the Rio–Niterói Bridge, and the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue in the distance.

   Day 3 — . Rio de Janeiro - Corcovado Mountain and Christ the Redeemer Statue

   After breakfast, depart on a new half-day excursion (4 hours). Travel through the lush Tijuca Forest, the world's largest urban rainforest, home to an extraordinary variety of tropical flora and fauna. The journey continues to the summit of Corcovado Mountain, where the magnificent Christ the Redeemer stands overlooking the city. Recognised as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, the monument offers breathtaking panoramic views of Rio de Janeiro, its famous beaches, mountains and Guanabara Bay.

   Day 4 — . Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguaçu – Brasilian Side Tour

   After breakfast, transfer to Rio de Janeiro airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Upon arrival, your driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. In the afternoon, discover the Brazilian side of the magnificent Iguazu Falls on a guided tour. Follow the scenic walkways along the canyon and enjoy spectacular views of the countless cascades, surrounded by lush Atlantic rainforest. The trail culminates at the impressive Devil’s Throat, where you can feel the power of the waterfalls and admire the rainbows created by the spray. Recommended optional activities - additional cost: enhance your experience with a thrilling Macuco Safari boat adventure or a visit to the colourful Bird Park.

   Day 5 — . Foz do Iguacu – Argentine Side Tour

   After breakfast, today you will go on a shared tour adventure in Foz do Iguacu. The Argentinean side is different from the Brazilian; you will walk on paths through the falls which give you the opportunity to have a look under the falls. You feel the strength of the falling water from up close and enjoy the 55.500 hectares natural park surrounding this spectacular beauty! Within the park, take the train to the marvelous devil's throat the strongest of all the waterfalls. Stand directly above the falling water and admire the strength of this natural phenomenon. Tickets are included.

   Day 6 — . Foz do Iguaçu

   After breakfast, free time until your transfer to the airport for your flight back home!
