Your journey, day by day

1. 1

   Day 1 — Buenos Aires

   Arrival at Buenos Aires airport. Private transfer with driver to the hotel.

2. 2

   Day 2 — Buenos Aires – City Highlights

   After breakfast, our guide will pick you up at your hotel for a half day city tour in Buenos Aires. This panoramic tour will take you through the highlights of South America's most European and cosmopolitan city. We'll drive along 9 de Julio Avenue where the renowned Colón Theater and the Obelisk, symbols of our city, are located. We'll visit Plaza de Mayo, surrounded by important historic buildings like the Casa Rosada, the Cathedral and the City Hall. We'll also visit Plaza San Martin, Alvear and Plaza del Congreso. The tour will drive us along the old fashion Avenida de Mayo and the dynamic Avenida Corrientes. Explore neighborhoods filled with colors and history, like La Boca and San Telmo, and the sumptuous neighborhoods of Palermo, Recoleta and the modern Puerto Madero, a busy gastronomic and entertainment area. In the evening enjoy an amazing Tango Show and Dinner (Group tour without a guide). Tango is still alive. A good way of penetrating its spirit is visiting one of the restaurants that offers tango shows of an excellent level, to enjoy tango´s sensual magnetism taken to the stage by some of the best dancers, singers and musicians in Buenos Aires! After a delicious dinner, you will follow a spectacular presentation of acclaimed popular and sensuous Tango, performed by the world's best. It is the music of Buenos Aires par excellence. Tango is felt in the air of the city, as humidity!

   Day 3 — Buenos Aires / Calafate

   Breakfast at the hotel. Private transfer to the airport to board flight to Calafate. Arrival in Calafate. Private transfer with driver to the hotel.

   Day 4 — Calafate - Perito Moreno glacier

   Breakfast at the hotel. Group tour to the Perito Moreno glacier in SIB with an English speaking guide. Perito Moreno Glacier - a magnificent giant ice glacier   the length of the river 100 km, a height greater than 60 m and a width of about 4 km, which is slowly slipping from the Andean peaks in the water of the Argentine Lake. Hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world come here to admire the spectacular sight as well as the powerful crumbling ice walls of the glacier which slowly fall under water, raising up huge waves.

   Day 5 —  Calafate – Iguaçu

   Breakfast in the hotel. Private transfer without guide to the airport to board your flight to Iguazu. Meeting with driver and transfer to the selected hotel.

   Day 6 —  Iguaçu – Argentinean Side of the Falls

   After breakfast, enjoy a full-day guided excursion to the Argentinean side of Iguazu National Park, home to one of the world’s most spectacular waterfall systems and one of South America’s greatest natural wonders. Explore the park through its three main trails. The Lower Circuit takes you deep into the rainforest and close to spectacular cascades such as Dos Hermanas, Bossetti and Alvar Núñez. The Upper Circuit follows elevated walkways along the top of several waterfalls, offering impressive panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The experience culminates at the Devil’s Throat, reached by the Ecological Train followed by a walk through the rainforest. From the observation platforms, admire the immense power of the water as it plunges into the gorge below. After a full day immersed in the extraordinary landscapes of Iguazu National Park, return to your hotel in the evening.

   Day 7 —  Iguaçu - Brazilian Side of the Falls - Rio de Janeiro

   Breakfast in the hotel. Our guide will pick up you to start the Brazilian Falls excursion. The waterfalls of Foz de Iguassu, located on the border of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, are 275 huge water streams falling from a terrible height. Waterfalls are located in the national park with unique flora and fauna, arose as a result of a volcanic eruption and displacement of earth layers. The name of the waterfalls in translation from Guarani means "big water". 275 waterfalls, each has its own name, are thrown with a roar in the gorge “Devil's Throat”. The contrast between the calm and even lazy flow of the Iguassu River above the waterfalls and the powerful overthrow of the seething streams of water from a height of 72 meters into the abyss is amazing. You can stand for hours without looking up, contemplating this spectacle and thinking about the magnificence and eternity of our universe. Recommended optional activities - additional cost: enhance your experience with a thrilling Macuco Safari boat adventure or a visit to the colourful Bird Park. After the tour you will be transferred to the airport with a driver to board your flight to Rio de Janeiro.

8. 8

   Day 8 —  Rio de Janeiro – Sugar Loaf Mountain & City Highlights

   Breakfast at the hotel. Half-day excursion to the Sugar Loaf with a guide. The first stop is the mountain Urca, with wide viewing area, where you can eat in a restaurant or have a drink at the bar. The mountain Sugar Loaf offers a beautiful view of Rio, Copacabana beach, the bay, the surrounding mountains, the islands in the ocean, bridge Niteroi, a statue of Christ. Then you will go by car to the central regions of the old Rio, where you can admire several ancient churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city, as well as buildings, built in colonial style. The afternoons are free to discover Rio at your own pace.

   Day 9 —  Rio de Janeiro – Corcovado Maountain & Christ the Redemmer

   After breakfast we go on a city tour and visit Christ the Redeemer with an English speaking guide. Where you can admire several ancient churches, monasteries, the main cathedral of the city, as well as buildings, built in colonial style. Arriving at the station, from where we take the cable car which takes us up Corcovado Mountain through the jungle to the top of Corcovado hill. Both sides of the railway offer spectacular views of the forest Tijuca, which is inhabited by monkeys and other exotic animals and birds. At the top of Corcovado hill, at an altitude of 700 m above sea level, stands the symbol of Rio – The Statue of Christ the Redeemer (38 m), which was built in 1931. From the top of Corcovado you can enjoy breathtaking panoramas of the metropolis and its surroundings: Niteroi Bridge, Guanabara Bay, the Botanical Garden, the world's largest stadium Maracana, the Sugar Loaf and many other breathtaking sights. The afternoons are free to discover Rio at your own pace. OPTIONAL EVENING EXPERIENCE: Available at an additional cost Rio by Night Show with Dinner – Experience the vibrant culture of Brazil through an unforgettable evening featuring live music, traditional dances and colourful costumes, accompanied by dinner at a traditional Brazilian churrascaria.
